Logitech is a brand of computer hardware and accessories that is no stranger to those who are involved in the world of computing. From audio hardware to keyboards, mice, gaming chairs and more, Logitech has something to upgrade your computer experience.
Recently, Logitech SA (Swizerland-America) has announced that their CEO, Bracken Darrell has resigned with immediate effect to explore new opportunities. He will reportedly also help transition the company's power and responsibilities this month before leaving Logitech entirely.
Bracken Darrell will be replaced by Guy Getch, currently a member of the company's board as Logitech searches for a full-time CEO replacement.
It was reported that Bracken Darrell resigned following the announcement that Logitech's fourth-quarter 2022 earnings were down 22 percent year-over-year, due to the difficulty of maintaining the same sales volume during the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bracken has been CEO of Logitech since 2013 and has taken over companies such as Ultimate Audio, Blue, Streamlabs and ASTRO Gaming.
He also said that this is the right time for Logitech to be led by someone new to allow the company to remain competitive with new ideas.
