Since 2021, Windows 365 is offered to business customers that allows the Windows 11 operating system to be accessed in the cloud on various company-owned devices. In a document filed for a court case between the FTC and Microsoft, it revealed a Windows 365 service for the public is being developed.
Through a monthly subscription, people can also access Windows 11 on any device they own with an internet connection. There is a plan for families that allows parents to monitor their child's Windows 11 usage and even log their video game sessions for multi-player sessions.
Although Windows 365 is in the cloud in Microsoft's plans, they will still offer traditional Wndows 11 because there is still a need for an operating system installed on a computer that does not require an internet connection.
