Microsoft has recently reportedly started selling spare parts for their Surface devices that no longer have warranty support, especially for users who prefer to repair their own devices.
The Microsoft Surface website for the United States, Canada and France is now seen listing a number of spare parts for the Surface series of devices, including screens, batteries, SSDs, cameras, keyboards and so on for devices such as Surface Pro 8 and 9, Surface Laptop and also Surface All-in-One.
As said before, Microsoft introduced this program for the countries of the United States, Canada and France first, but will expand this offer to other countries soon.
The concept of Right To Repair or self-repair of devices has been emphasized recently, and Microsoft's move is seen as a way for them to start accepting the concept, and make it easier for users to repair their own devices.
