Microsoft Tests Dynamic Lighting And File Explorer Features Through The Latest Insider Preview Version

The Windows Insider Program operating system test program gives users of the Microsoft Windows operating system the opportunity to see and test the latest features of the operating system before it is widely released.

Recently, one of the features that the public has been waiting for, which is Dynamic Lighting, has finally been introduced through the latest version of the Insider Program, Insider Preview Build 23475. The Dynamic Lighting feature is a feature where users can control the RGB lighting system built into a desktop computer or computer. laptop without having to install RGB lighting control software.

Microsoft is seen working with Acer, Asus, HP, HyperX, Logitech and Razer to allow users to toggle switches on and off the built-in RGB lighting system without having to install third-party software.

For now, the Dynamic Lighting function is seen to be limited to setting up and turning off the lighting system, and functions such as modifying brightness and color effects. Microsoft also says that for now the feature seems to work fine with wired accessories, and for wireless devices, there may be some issues in getting it to work properly.

In the meantime, with this latest Windows Insider build, Microsoft has shown a new File Explorer design, with a larger icon design, and also shows a section of newly opened documents that is more clearly visible, and can be pasted as documents that are often open if desired. The File Explorer address box section can also now distinguish between local or cloud folders easily.

It is currently unknown when Microsoft will introduce these features to regular Windows 11 users.
