It looks like not one but two devices with clamshell foldable screens are being introduced by Motorola today. Known as the Motorola Razr 40, it features a design quite different from the Ultra version and is positioned in the mid-range segment.
The Motorola Razr 40 uses a 6.9-inch pOLED FHD+ main screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. In the meantime, the secondary screen is smaller which is 1.9-inches which also contains the main dual-camera system on it. If you notice, this is the same screen size used on a previous Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.
The Motorola Razr 40's main camera capabilities consist of 64MP (main) which is also matched with a 13MP sensor for ultra-wide. Selfie camera support is as big as 32MP which is also placed in a small hole on the inner screen, like the Ultra version.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip is used as the mainstay of the device, followed by memory options of up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The battery capacity is 4200mAh which also supports 30W wired and 8W wireless charging.
The device also has 5G network support, IP52 and bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The selling price of the device starts at RMB3999 (~RM2594) (8GB/128GB), RMB4299 (~RM2789) (8GB/256GB) and RMB4699 (~RM3048) (12GB/256GB).
