Now at the COMPUTEX Taipei event, MSI has shown a screen display of the Project 491C at their booth and tested it with the Microsoft Flight Simulator game. This display shows a native resolution of 5120×1440 with a ratio of 32:9 and a refresh rate of 240Hz and a time delay as low as 0.03ms.
Apart from being used to build flight and racing simulation computers, this screen display also comes with a brightness value of 1000 nits and supports DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 display technology which is excellent for watching movies or playing your favorite modern games for a deeper entertainment experience. It also supports AMD Radeon FreeSync Premium Pro graphics technology which ensures that this display does not present with screen tracking issues when the output of the graphics card and the screen display are out of sync.
In terms of plug support, MSI says that for now, the Project 491C display will come with HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB Type-C support and built-in charging.
Even so, they also say that for now, the full specifications, even the display design of Project 491C are not final yet, and changes in terms of site design, technology support and so on can and will change in a few months.
MSI also confirmed that this display will launch later this year, with a price tag to be determined later.
