Nearby Share Can Now Send Files To Devices With The Screen Off

Nearby Share is Google's answer to Apple Air Drop. This feature is getting more and more interesting to use as Google regularly updates making it the best file sharing service for Android devices.

Latest Nearby Share has been updated with the ability to send files to devices whose screen is inactive. Previously, Nearby Share could only be used when both screen devices were turned on, then the device that wanted to send the file could identify which device would be the recipient.

This feature appears to be limited to Android devices that use the same Google account only. Also not sure when this feature will be rolled out as it can be used on some Android devices we use in the office.
