Last night Nothing confirmed that the Phone (2) will be launched on July 11. Today Carl Pei has shared on Twitter an update for Phone (1) users so they don't feel left out when new devices are announced.
Phone (1) will support Nothing OS 2.0 which is a new operating system based on Android starting in August. There are still no details revealed about what new features will be introduced.
Nothing OS will provide a stock Android-like user experience with a typeface and some custom Nothing apps. The performance of this operating system is said to be as smooth and fast as it is on Oxygen OS because it was developed by a former OnePlus developer.
