Among the issues with Wear OS is the problematic distribution of updates. It was only after Google partnered with Samsung for Wear OS 3 that changes to the operating system of these smartwatches became visible.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch5 are among the watches that rely on the new Wear OS. Since last year these watches have been among the first to receive functional updates and new features. Coming soon these watches will also be the first to receive the Wear OS 4 update.
It is sad to be informed that recently on Samsung's official forum in South Korea, they revealed that the One UI Watch 5 update based on Wear OS 4.0 will be delayed. This is due to Google itself where the new software is not yet ready to be tested.
Although since last year the lucky users were able to test the beta test but until today there is still no stable update. Samsung Galaxy Watch6 is expected to be launched next July. By now Samsung and Google might be ready with the new Wear OS and One UI Watch updates.
