With the introduction of GPT-4, many have speculated about the next version that may be developed, known as GPT-5. It is not yet known what it will bring, but it is expected to be closer to AGI – which is said to be the human equivalent.

Anyway, with various concerns out there regarding the artificial intelligence arena, now OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman stated that the development process of GPT-5 has not yet started.

He added that there are various other tasks that need to be carried out before starting the development of the new model. At the same time, OpenAI is also developing some new ideas before starting GPT-5.
