OpenAI, the company behind services such as ChatGPT, is now reportedly about to introduce its own application store to make it easier for developers to provide their offerings for models and services developed on OpenAI technology. It will operate more or less like an app store that facilitates the discovery of apps for a given platform, but this one focuses on offering an artificial intelligence model.
However, this application store offering will focus on enterprise users first. It is expected to make it easier for enterprises and businesses to find and obtain suitable models to be integrated into their respective products.
Several parties are said to be ready to offer their models to other parties, including Khan Academy. For now, it is not yet known when this offering will be launched by OpenAI.
