Perodua today introduced the new and most basic model for the Axia family, named as Perodua Axia E. The car with this basic offering is seen to be targeted at several consumers, especially for motorcyclists and low-income groups. Driving schools are also expected to be users of this model for training purposes.
Perodua Axia E comes with manual drive, 1 liter VVT-i engine with 67hp power and 91 NM acceleration. The new car with this basic offering comes with a design similar to the Axia 2019 car, and at the same time uses a front bumper design similar to the 2017 model. Perodua is seen to have done this step to allow it to come with a car model at the most affordable price.
The Perodua Axia E also comes with two airbags, a seat belt reminder for the driver, and a five-year warranty. Some other differences compared to other Axia model offerings include manually controlled side mirrors, and slightly less width than other Axia models. No radio is included, and the display uses an older design instead of an LCD.
But, at the price, the Perodua Axia E now makes it the lowest priced car by Perodua to date – where it is also cheaper than the previous Perodua Kancil.
For those of you who are interested, you can check the Perodua Axia E offer on the official Perodua website, and make a reservation starting today. Perodua aims to sell around 1,500 units of this model every month.
