Xiaomi is rumored to be preparing a successor to the Redmi 10. The phone will be called the Redmi 12, its specifications are tempting but priced at a cheap price.
Xiaomi has not officially announced it yet. However, the Redmi 12 has accidentally appeared on the official website of Xiaomi Portugal.
Realizing the mistake, Xiaomi hastily removed it. It's just that the reviewer from Poland, Kacper Skrzypek, managed to record the sighting so that he knows the complete specifications and price of Redmi 12.
As mentioned earlier, the specifications of Redmi 12 are more tempting than their predecessors. The screen measures 6.79 inches with Full HD+ resolution. Xiaomi provides a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Just like the current Xiaomi HP, the Redmi 12 has adopted a punch hole. There is an 8 MP selfie camera.
The MediaTek Helio G88 SoC chipset supports this HP, built with 12nm technology and paired with an ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. Redmi 12 supports up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The back of the phone offers a triple camera configuration that includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. Redmi 12 also has a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging capability and a USB Type C port.
Xiaomi provides a fingerprint sensor on the side body. When released, Redmi 12 was already running MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
Redmi 12 will be available in Blue, Black and White colors. The price is €209,99 in Portugal.
