The government today announced that youth aged 18 to 20 years, as well as full-time students at higher learning institutes can start redeeming RM200 credit under the E-Belia Tunai Rahmah initiative from June 26, 2023.
Redemption of this RM200 credit can be done through three e-wallet services in Malaysia, namely Boost, Setel and Touch n Go eWallet.
The government states that registration and claims can be made from 26 June 2023 until 22 August 2023. The e-wallet provider company is also expected to offer a number of additional incentives to users in the form of vouchers, cashback, or reward point discounts during this period.
This RM200 credit can be used at retailers or merchants that accept payment via DuitNow QR code. The credit received is limited to be spent "offline" only, and must be spent before August 31, 2023.
