The increasing number of Sony WF-1000XM5 information sharing hints that its launch date is also getting closer. Most recently, some pictures have been shared through the sharing of WinFuture's site, which show the design of the earphones in more detail.
It shows a pair of earphones in two different colors namely silver and black. Looking at the exterior design, the glossy finish used this time makes it look more premium compared to the dull touch on the XM4. Significant changes also lie in the charging pod which is now more compact and round. In the meantime, it is believed to also include a USB-C charging port, but it has not been confirmed whether it is on the back or the bottom.
The XM5's audio output is also clearly smaller than its predecessor, which should provide more comfort when used. It is rumored that the XM5 can be used for up to 24 hours which also supports wireless charging. A 3-minute charge allows for up to 1 hour of playback time, which is better than the XM4's 15-minute charge.
