Steam Updated With New Interface And Features Across Platforms

 


Steam application updated today interface, and new features with which it facilitates its use on desktop, Steam Deck, Big Picture Mode and smartphones. This new design has been tested in Beta since April. Among the new features introduced is writing notes with them stored in the cloud. With in notes written in the smartphone app can be accessed when Steam is opened on the desktop.



Various interface elements such as in-game overlays can be pinned to certain parts of the screen with the game in the background. The display of received notifications is also neater with them arranged in different categories. Screenshot management is also better to facilitate sharing later.



Steam's built-in web browser has also been given a new lease of life. Finally on the Mac and Linux platforms, graphics acceleration features are finally supported to speed up the use of applications on these two platforms.
