Telegram Expresses Its Commitment To Cooperate With SKMM And PDRM In Curbing Crime


 Today, Telegram has finally met with the authorities in Malaysia, including the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM) and also the Minister of Communications and Digital, along with the Inspector General of Police.


Through a meeting of consent, the authorities in Malaysia led by the Minister of Communications and Digital have stated that there are too many criminal cases that occur on Telegram, including fake investment fraud, pornographic content and online crime.



In parallel, Telegram has expressed its commitment and is ready to cooperate more closely with SKMM and PDRM. The government also emphasized that it will not remain silent against criminals who hide behind false identities.


With this move, it is expected to pave the way in ensuring a safer Telegram offering for the public to use, especially in Malaysia.
