Last month OpenAI launched the ChatGPT app for iOS. The application is offered for free and users can also sync usage history from the web to the device. OpenAI also states that the ChatGPT application includes Whisper integration, to perform voice-based input.
The latest ChatGPT application has been updated to version 1.2023.173. In this new update ChatGPT Plus customers can access New Features settings. Inside there is an option to change to the LLM GPT-4 model and also be able to use the web browser feature with Bing integration.
With Bing integration, ChatGPT can provide more up-to-date answers because it can perform web searches. ChatGPT's original model was only trained using information up to 2021 which means the answers given may no longer be accurate.
In addition, the search in the usage history has also been improved. After searching the user can directly press the search result and the application will lead to the conversation. For those who want to use it, the ChatGPT application can also be used by iPhone users in Malaysia.
