To use the Apple Vision Pro headset you first need to live in the United States. Then you need to have RM16,000 to buy it and then go to the Apple Store so that face measurements can be taken to make sure it fits your head. If you are nearsighted, you need to buy a special Zeiss lens because wearing it with glasses is not recommended.
Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg writer sent a tip estimating the cost of producing the Zess lens is between $300-600 (~RM 1382-2765) a pair. Apple has not released a statement on whether this cost will be borne by them or future Vision Pro buyers. This will all only be answered after the Vision Pro goes on sale in early 2024.
As a myopic person and with Zeiss lens glasses, we can say this estimate is close to the market price. The more myopic, the higher the price because it requires high index glasses. For those who don't want to pay more for special lenses, the Meta Quest 4, Pico 4 and PlayStation VR2 do not support users with glasses.
