TikTok has previously introduced a special application called TikTok Now which brings features similar to the BeReal application - where it focuses on sharing random video recordings or photos at a certain time of the day.
TikTok Now was introduced last September 2022, and now less than a year later, TikTok chose to end it. The reason behind its termination is not stated, but it is likely due to its low popularity, or possibly due to the demand for features like BeReal.
TikTok has sent a notification to TikTok Now users, stating that the application will be terminated. TikTok encourages users to share directly through the main TikTok application after its termination.
