U Mobile now comes with a brand new home broadband offering, called U Home 5G. Through it, it offers a SIM card with 5G network access that can be used with your 5G device or use it with a home router that supports SIM cards.
U Home 5G comes at a monthly price of RM78 per month. However, for the introductory period, U Mobile offers it at a price of RM68 per month for life for those who register during this introductory period.
Through this package, it offers unlimited data access, with a minimum 5G speed of 100Mbps, or an average 4G speed of 23Mbps. It also comes without a contract, allowing you to cancel at any time.
On the FAQ page, U Mobile emphasizes that no P2P or torrent support is allowed through U Home 5G, in addition to possibly limiting the speed if usage exceeds 1000GB. Users will be limited to 512Kbps speed thereafter, or can also choose to purchase an additional 1000GB data quota at a price of RM30 (which quota will expire on the new bill date).
