United States Securities Commission Filed 13 Charges Against Binance

The United States Securities Commission has now reportedly filed 13 lawsuits against the popular crypto trading exchange, Binance, and also against the company's CEO – for violations of the country's securities laws.

Among the things alleged include allowing users in the United States to trade on unregistered exchanges, market manipulation, mixing client assets with personal and company holdings, misappropriation of funds, as well as violating a number of other United States laws involving securities and investments.

In addition to this, Binance is also under investigation involving alleged money laundering and several other matters - by other agencies in the United States.

Binance's CEO said via Twitter that he will issue an official response once he sees the allegations in full. This also shows that a number of cryptocurrencies have also shown a decline in value since this allegation was announced by the United States authorities.

For information, the authorities in Malaysia are ready to request that Binance operations be stopped since 2021.
