It is not surprising to see Android devices come with 8GB, 12GB, 16GB and even 18GB memory usage. In fact, with the addition of virtual RAM features, storage components can also be used to increase this amount of memory.
Recently, Digital Chat Station on Weibo has said that at least three brands of Android devices from China, including OPPO, OnePlus and Realme are expected to introduce Android devices that will use up to 24GB of LPDDR5X memory.
Until now, most premium class Android devices regardless of brand use 16GB of LPDDR5/5X for their memory needs, and only the Nubia RedMagic 7S Pro is seen with 18GB of built-in RAM.
Not many details are known about the use of this much memory, but the expectation is that these 24GB memory modules will be shown in premium class Android devices by these brands later.
Whether this additional memory will help in moving the upcoming Android operating system, we still don't know for now.
