MediaTek has launched a new processing chip last May, the Dimensity 9200+ as a chip for flagship devices. Recently, Vivo in China has launched the first device using this chip, the Vivo X90s.
Overall, this device is still the same as the Vivo X90 that was launched at the beginning of the year. 6.78-inch AMOLED 120Hz FHD+ screen, powered by a Dimensity 9200+ chip paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage. The battery is 4810mAh with 120W fast charging, supports Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 7. The Vivo X90s also remains powered by the Vivo V2 chip for imaging.
On the back Vivo X90s still uses a tri-camera configuration Zeiss 50MP Sony IMX866 wide angle + 12MP portrait 2x optical zoom + 12MP ultra-wide angle which still remains with their own stabilization system and supports 4K video recording. On the front, the selfie camera is still the same, which is 32MP.
For now the Vivo X90s is only sold in the Chinese market. There are three variations with four color options namely;
Vivo X90s 8/256 GB – ¥3,999 (~RM2,585)
Vivo X90s 12/256 GB – ¥4,299 (~RM2,778)
Vivo X90s 12/512 GB – ¥4,699 (~RM3,037)
