WhatsApp account on HP Android will be able to be connected to iPad

WhatsApp has released a companion mode feature on Android and iOS that allows users to connect one account to four devices at once. Soon, WhatsApp users on Android will be able to connect their accounts to iPad.

This update was found by WABetaInfo on WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.23.12.12. This feature is still in the development stage so it cannot be accessed by beta testers yet.

From the screenshots uploaded by WABetaInfo, it can be seen that the iPad is one of the devices known as linked devices. That is, users will be able to connect WhatsApp for iPad to their account.

It should be noted that the WhatsApp application for iPad is currently still in development and has not yet been released. But if it is already available, users will be able to connect their WhatsApp account on Android to iPad.

The WhatsApp application for iPad has long been rumored to be available soon. WABetaInfo even shared similar information in 2021 and until now the WhatsApp application for iPad has not yet been launched.

But according to WABetaInfo now the condition has changed. Since WhatsApp launched the companion mode on iOS, they guessed WhatsApp's next step is to launch an application for the iPad.

"The fact that WhatsApp is currently working to make the application recognize the iPad as a linked device can confirm that the application will soon be released to the public," said WABetaInfo as quoted by us, Monday (5/6/2023).

Currently the WhatsApp application for iPad and the option to connect WhatsApp accounts on Android to iPad are still in the development stage. It is not yet known when this feature will be released to the public.

While waiting for the long-awaited WhatsApp application for iPad, WhatsApp users on iOS can try to connect their accounts to four other iPhones at the same time using companion mode.
