ZOTAC Introduces ZBOX Pico PI430AJ – Midget Computer With Unique Cooling System

ZOTAC is a computer brand known for their graphics card offerings as well as compact computers and at the COMPUTEX Taipei 2023 event, the company has showcased a new midget computer called the ZBOX Pico PI430AJ that looks like the size of a Raspberry Pi computer, but offers computing performance and a cooling system that is quite unique.

Although it comes in quite a small size, this ZBox Pico PI430AJ is equipped with an Intel Core i3-N300 processing chip that has eight cores with a speed of 3.8GHz, LPDDR5 memory of 8GB and room for one PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD storage. .

In terms of plug support, the ZBox Pico is loaded with three USB 3.2 Type-C plugs, one HDMI 2.0 plug and one MicroSD card reader. It also supports WiFi6 connection which promises a fast internet connection with low latency.

More interestingly, this dwarf computer can also be used to run the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system, and can be used as a multimedia computer.

The uniqueness of this dwarf computer is present through the cooling system used that is able to flow hot air from the CPU components without using a fan. This cooling system, called AirJet was developed by Frore Systems which uses a cooling chip consisting of membrane fins that use electricity and the vibration of these fins to flow air to these components.

Using electricity as low as 10W only, this cooling system is also seen to be quite efficient and able to cool these components silently. For now it is not known when ZOTAC will launch this ZBox Pico PI430AJ midget computer.
