Apple is arguably lagging behind some other tech companies – especially Google and Microsoft in artificial intelligence-based chatbot offerings. However, Apple has not completely abandoned the matter, and is developing it including its own strategy internally.
According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is testing an AI-based chatbot with generative support – which can provide feedback or generate content based on user input. Internally, it is named as Apple GPT.
Apple is said to develop this project based on the Ajax framework that is ready to generate various machine learning projects under Apple. Apple is ready to integrate machine learning and artificial intelligence support in products such as Siri and Apple Maps. Now, they are also developing a generative offering, more or less like ChatGPT.
For now, Apple is just testing it internally and it is not yet known when it will be introduced to the public. Apple is said to be likely to share a number of developments involving artificial intelligence in the next year, 2024.
