Apple Vision Pro Production Reduced To Around 400K Units Due To Manufacturing Issues

Next year Apple Vision Pro will officially go on sale as the first AR headset from the giant company with a market value of $3 trillion. But now there is a report from the Financial Times saying that the production of this ship set will be reduced to only 400,000 units compared to the proposed 1 million units due to production issues.

The issue concerns the final quality of the screens used on the interior and exterior of the Vision Pro. Because of this issue Apple is predicted not to produce the Vision Pro in the previously targeted amount. However, in the same report, there are claims that Apple only ordered enough components for around 150,000 headsets, suggesting that production may be lower due to quality issues or in preparation for a lack of response from the public.

Apple's first generation products are generally not well received due to their high prices and lack of attractive features. With a pair of Vision Pro selling for $3500, this will make it even harder for most people to afford.
