Last week, we reported on the ASUS BR1402 series of laptops developed specifically for K-12 students (kindergarten to 5th grade) that come in two model options, one with a traditional laptop design, and another that can rotate the display to made into a tablet.
Now, ASUS Malaysia has announced that its sister, ASUS BR1102 is now in the local market. If the BR1402 comes with a 14-inch screen display, the ASUS BR1102 comes with an 11.5-inch display and a resolution of 1366 x 768 with a touch function.
It is powered by an Intel N100 to i3-N305 processor chip and has 8GB of DDR4 memory and a 128GB UFS storage option up to 1TB SSD storage. It also comes with support for wireless connectivity technologies such as Bluetooth 5 and also WiFi 5 which is good enough for a fast internet connection.
In terms of design, this laptop also has a pretty robust design, with the MIL-STD-810H standard helping to ensure that it can be used more roughly without too many problems.
It also has an anti-microbial layer that ensures that germs do not roam around the laptop and infect children who use the laptop.
Even more interesting, this laptop can also be changed internal components can be changed easily, such as battery, memory, storage.
ASUS Malaysia says that these laptops, which consist of two models including ASUS BR1102C and ASUS BR1102F, have already started to be offered in the local market at the following prices:
