ASUS Shows Off GeForce RTX 4060Ti Graphics Card With Built-in M.2 SSD Slot

A graphics card is usually used to move the graphics part of a computer, which includes the connection between the computer and the display and also to move the graphics in games, videos and so on.

Recently, ASUS has shown a prototype GeForce RTX 4060Ti graphics card that comes with a slot for M.2 SSD storage that utilizes the eight PCIe lanes built into the graphics card.

Not much is different about this graphics card, except that it comes with that M.2 slot on the back of this graphics card, with a cutout in the metal frame on the back to accommodate the storage. One thing that may seem strange is the way the M.2 SSD storage is installed where the part of the built-in memory chip will point towards the graphics card.

Reports also say that this graphics card can technically add another M.2 SSD storage slot as each slot only uses four PCIe lanes, but since this graphics card was only developed as a concept product, it only comes with one slot. .

ASUS doesn't say how they connect this part of the SSD from the graphics card to the PCIe lane, but people's expectations are

Through their Bilibili video, ASUS also said that when this SSD is used in this way, the temperature of this component only rises to around 42 degrees Celsius which is not very hot for this type of storage.

Unfortunately, as said before, this graphics card is only a concept design, and will not be widely sold in any market.
