CelcomDigi announced they will use Huawei and ZTE telecommunications equipment to combine their networks. Through this collaboration, more than 25,000 Celcom and Digi transmitter sites will be combined to provide the best 4G and 5G services for customers.
After the merger, CelcomDigi became the largest mobile telecommunications company in Malaysia. Previously, they had already started a pilot test combining the network last January. With this, the issue of Celcom customers getting a weak connection but vice versa for Digi customers in the same area will be resolved.
