The 15-inch MacBook Air is the familiar 13-inch MacBook Air. It's thin, light, powerful with the Apple M2 chip and offers Apple's new laptop prices relatively cheap for large sizes without having to spend more than a MacBook Pro. DigiTimes however reports that demand for this laptop is low.
Sources also stated that this low demand was beyond Apple's expectations. Production of the 15-inch MacBook Air is said to be 50% less than initial orders and Apple is beginning to issue orders to reduce production.
