DJI Air 3 Can Be Found In Malaysia With Prices Starting At RM4,799

DJI is seen diversifying its portfolio of compact and foldable drones with a new product, the Air 3. This new drone comes with a main dual-camera system with the same sensor size but different focal lengths. It consists of a 1/1.3-inch CMOS wide-angle camera and a 1X 1/3.3-inch CMOS telephoto camera that is loaded in a drone body that is still light with a weight of about 750 grams.

Meanwhile, this new drone can also record horizontal video up to 4K/30fps and vertically which is limited to 2/7K. In addition, it also offers various options for automatic object tracking capabilities through ActiveTrack 5.0, Point of Interest 3.0, QuickShots and Spotlight 2.0 functions.

There is also a MasterShot function that allows the drone to perform various camera movements automatically. This includes the use of recording various clips, editing clips and adding music to produce cinematic recordings in a faster and easier way.

Next, the support of the brand new OcuSync 4.0 transmission system that is included allows this drone to fly with a video distance of up to 20KM. With the Waypoint Flight feature, users can plan the drone's flight path in advance for the purpose of making the recording process easier, especially long-term timelapse videos such as recording the transition between day and night, or season to season. The included battery is able to allow this drone to fly for 46 minutes with a single charge.

For those interested, DJI Air 3 is sold in Malaysia with a selling price starting at RM4,799 for the drone only. DJI also offers a combo purchase pack for it that comes with two options, either the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (DJI RC-N2) at a price of RM5,799 and the DJI Air 3 Fly More Combo (DJI RC 2) at RM6,589.
