Among the interesting features of the recently launched Nothing Phone (2) is the updated Glyph with more functions. Besides being able to turn Glyph into a stopwatch light or track an Uber, Nothing also offers composers to create their own ringtones.
Glyph Composer was initially said to be limited to Nothing OS 2.0 only. But recently Glyph Composer app has been listed by Nothing on Google Play Store and can be downloaded for Phone users (1).
This application reminds me of the Nokia 3310 which can create polyphonic ringtones. On Glyph Composer is seen to offer 5 main sounds namely Modem, Weevil, 606, Brrr and Dan. Then there are 5 more buttons representing each LED strip component with different sounds and also a recorder button.
After the 10-second recording is complete, it can continue to be set as a ringtone as an alternative to other ringtones already on offer. For those who don't know, this Gyph Composer is the result of Nothing's collaboration with the electronic music group Swedish House Mafia.
