Google Tests New Interface For Google Photos

Google Photos is now seen testing a new interface design for the Android app. Through this partnership that comes to the web arena, Google Photos appears to be using a design closer to the Material You theme for icons, buttons and the tab bar.

The bottom tab is now a floating bar for Photos, Memories and Library with the Sharing tab moved to the top. Google Photos Memories now displays images and possibly videos in the form of collages.

The search section and Library also received aesthetic changes that look neater and in line with the design of Android 13 and Android 14. Google's selection of application design changes is undeniably confusing at times. For example, the Play Store which previously followed the Material You color theme now emphasizes the color blue.

At the moment it is still uncertain when this new Google Photos update will be distributed to the public and is it limited to Android or will it also change to the iOS application? Let's wait together.
