The Ministry of Finance together with the Ministry of Communications and Digital will meet and cooperate in curbing fraud cases involving the exchange of eBelia Rahmah credits to cash.
For information, since last week, the government has given RM200 credit to the youth to help ease the burden, and at the same time use the credit to spend on physical stores, especially SMEs.
However, there are several parties that offer the service of exchanging eBelia Rahmah credit in cash - and there is no less a scam involving it that makes the youth lose their credit completely.
The recipients of the credit are advised to use it in spending, instead of converting it to cash because it is against the terms and conditions.
MOF and KKD are expected to meet tomorrow to discuss this matter.
