Huawei will launch their HarmonyOS 4.0 operating system during the Huawei Developers Conference which will take place on August 4. A leaked image shared by Huawei confirms that this operating system will be announced on that date.
HarmonyOS 4.0 has been undergoing Beta testing for the past few weeks on devices such as the P60, Mate50, and Mate 40. The HarmonyOS operating system should be used on all Huawei products after they are no longer granted access to GMS. But as can be seen now, it is only used on devices in China only.
Global devices such as those sold in Malaysia use a modified EMUI with some HarmonyOS features offered. So far among the new features of HarmonyOS 4.0 shown is the new device status screen.
