The Honor Magic V2 launched in China today making it the world's thinnest foldable screen device. In the open state, it is only 4.7mm thick and in the closed position it is only 9.9mm. It easily overtakes the Mate X3 with a thickness of 5.3mm and 11.8mm.
The device is equipped with a 6.43″ OLED 120Hz LTPO external screen and a 7.92″ OLED 120Hz LTPO internal screen. The Magic V2 is also the first foldable screen device to support a stylus on both screens. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM memory, up to 512GB storage and a 5000 mAh battery that supports 66W wireless charging.
The main camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 20MP telephoto lens also with OIS. Meanwhile, the outside and inside selfie cameras each use 16MP sensors. With the in-camera system, it is able to provide a digital zoom system up to 40X.
A stereo speaker system is provided with it supporting DTS: X Ultra. A fingerprint scanner is also included on the side of the device. Not missing is an infrared transmitter to make it a remote control. The operating system used is MagicOS 7.2 which is based on Android 13. The selling price in China is as below.
