With Samsung having recently launched the Galaxy Z Flip5, their fifth-generation flagship phone, Honor looks set to compete with Samsung. Honor's first clamshell phone will launch in 2024.
For now there is still no information about what the uniqueness of the Honor shell phone can offer. This year Motorola Razr 40 Ultra (Razr+) and Galaxy Flip5 offer a large external screen, Honor should have more or less the same features with a competitive price or a unique design like their Magic V2 which is the world's thinnest folding phone.
