Huawei Malaysia has also introduced two new tablets to the local market, namely Huawei MatePad Air as their premium class tablet and also Huawei MatePad 11.5 for those who want a tablet that .
This Huawei MatePad Air comes with a FullView Display touch screen display with a resolution of 2.8K and a refresh rate of 144Hz with a display ratio of 3:2 that resembles a piece of A4 paper. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor chip with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage and runs the HarmonyOS 3.1 operating system.
With the name MatePad Air, this tablet also comes with a very thin and light design, at a size of 6.4mm and a weight of only 506g. It is also loaded with an 8300mAH battery and supports 40W charging capabilities.
Additional features are such as a 13MP camera on the back, support for WPS Office productivity software, the ability to connect to a Huawei MateBook laptop as an additional display and the facility to take and add notes to documents through Quick Notes.
Meanwhile, Huawei Malaysia also showcased the Huawei MatePad 11.5, a more affordable tablet that comes with the same display size with Full HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processing chip with 6GB DDR4 memory and 128GB internal storage which is enough for basic daily use at home. It also comes with support for features such as WiFi6 and Huawei Share which allows users to easily share files between devices.
Huawei Malaysia says that pre-orders for the Huawei MatePad Air and Huawei MatePad 11.5 are already open until July 21 through their website, and will go on sale officially on July 22. Each pre-order will come with a second generation Huawei Smart Keyboard and M-Pencil worth RM998.
