Tesla is ready to schedule an official announcement related to their focus on the Malaysian market on July 20, 2023. Parallel to its launch, several discussions involving Tesla and the Malaysian government are actively underway, including PM Anwar Ibrahim who is scheduled to meet with Elon Musk.
Most recently, the Chief Minister of Johor also stated that he had the opportunity to discuss with Tesla recently. Through it, several plans have been expressed to Tesla, including the readiness and potential of Johor to be the location for the establishment of Tesla's Supercharger network.
For now, it is a discussion in a very early phase, and it is not yet known what the planned plans will be realized. Surely this introduction step will benefit Malaysia, and together we look forward to happy things related to this matter.
