Kahoot is one of the popular platforms used by many to offer tekaria games - either in an event, or in the classroom for learning.
Recently, Kahoot was acquired by a private equity firm at a value of $1.72 billion (~RM7.69 billion). This private equity firm is joined by several parties, including the investment division of LEGO, Goldman Sachs, General Atlantic and several other investment firms.
Previously, during the Movement Control Order, Kahoot became the focus of many in facilitating learning. It has offered millions of learning sessions, and is used in over 200 countries. Kahoot also claims to have over 1 million paid users using their platform.
For the time being, it is not yet known whether this takeover will bring major changes to the company's operations, or remain business as usual. Kahoot is expected to continue to focus on making learning more interesting.
