This year Microsoft has ended support for Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 operating systems. Indirectly some well-known developers ended their application support for these three platforms. Among them is Google Chrome which stopped support last February.
Recently Mozilla has distributed the latest Firefox version updates for Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. This update is version ESR 115 (Extended Support Release). After this update no more software version support will be provided. Mozilla will however continue to distribute security updates.
