Nearby Share Can Now Be Used On Windows Computers

Google Nearby Share can now be used by all Android device owners to transfer files to Windows computers. It's an AirDrop-like feature that allows wireless transfers to be done quickly. Last April this feature was given as a Beta test to interested users.

With it now officially launched, Nearby Share can show how long it takes to send a file on a device so that an estimate can be made. A preview of the sent file can also be viewed. For those who want to use Nearby Share on Windows, please go to the link below to download to a computer.

Since testing began, Google says more than 50 million files have been successfully transferred between Android devices and PCs. They are currently in discussions to install the Nearby Share application on HP PCs.
