The Nokia G42 5G has been officially launched after being leaked through several sources. It is positioned as a mid-range device powered by the Snapdragon 480+ chip. The same concept as the Nokia G22 is still maintained with the use of recycled plastic materials that are also easily repaired by users.
Next, the screen is a type of IPS LCD HD+ that supports a 90Hz refresh rate. This is also matched with a small notch design that houses an 8MP selfie camera. Meanwhile, the main camera consists of 50MP (main) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth).
The memory option is 6GB RAM with virtual RAM capabilities up to 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in internal storage. The device also runs Android 13 with up to 2 years of system update support and 3 years of security provided.
Also complementing the device is a 5,000mAh battery with 20W charging and a fingerprint scanner for security purposes. Apart from that the device also has IP52 waterproof, USB-C connection and 3.5mm audio jack.
