The OnePlus Nord 3 5G was officially launched tonight with another affordable flagship device with impressive specifications. The device is equipped with a 6.74″ Fluid AMOLED FHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is not of the LTPO type but has a dynamic instant rate between 40-120Hz. The screen also supports the HDR10+ system on Netflix and Prime Video.
This is also matched with a Dimensity 9000 processor, memory up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, storage up to 256GB and a battery of 5000 mAh that supports 80W wired charging. A charger is included in the box with every purchase. However wireless charging is not supported. Through the RAM Expension system, the device's memory can be increased up to 12GB virtually allowing it to have a total of 28GB of RAM.
On the main camera, a 50MP wide-angle sensor with OIS is matched with an 8MP ultra wide-angle and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, a 16MP camera is used and it is placed in the camera hole. The Sony IMX890 sensor used on the wide-angle lens is the same sensor as on the OnePlus 11. However, the device does not support the Hasselblad camera system.
The body of the device is boxy with side drop-down buttons. The back panel is made of Gorilla Glass 5 and the front is Dragontrail glass. OnePlus says the body of the device passes IP54 waterproof and dustproof standards. Other features included are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and an infrared emitter.
The Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1 operating system used will receive Android updates for three years and security patches for four years. In Malaysia OnePlus Nord 3 5G is sold at a price of RM2199 for the 16/256GB model in Misty Green color. Pre-orders have already been opened through the OnePlus Malaysia website.
