Meta already introduced the Threads app earlier this morning, which offers a Twitter-like experience – allowing users to share text, photos and even videos.
Threads uses an Instagram account to create a profile, and also makes it easy for users to pull data such as a profile picture and a brief bio with just one click.
Anyway, for Threads users, one of the things that Meta also stated through the Threads service policy is that users can deactivate their Threads profile at any time. However, to delete the Threads profile, it can only be done by deleting the Instagram account only.
This may be expected, given that the accounts are linked together.
For now, Threads is ready to reach over 10 million registered accounts in just about 7 hours.
