RedMagic 8S Pro is the world's first gaming smartphone with 24GB RAM memory. The device is also the first other than Samsung to use an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Today RedMagic Malaysia announced that this device will arrive in the Malaysian market on August 3.
The device uses a 6.8″ FHD+ near bezel-less OLED screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip on the device uses a configuration of 1x 3.36GHz Cortex-X3 + 2x 2.8 GHz Cortex-A715 + 2x 2.8 GHz Cortex-A710 + 3x 2.0 GHz Cortex-A510 with Adreno 740 719MHz GPU. The memory of this device model is limited to 12/512 GB only and so far it is not certain which variant will be sold in Malaysia.
For the camera, the 8S Pro comes with a 50+8+2 Megapixel sensor and a 16MP selfie camera under the screen. The stereo speakers used on this device support high definition audio and still retain the 3.5mm audio jack. The device's battery is 6000mAh and supports fast charging up to 80W.
Let's all look forward to this August 3 to find out which variation will be launched and how much it will be sold in Malaysia. In China the highest 8S Pro model is sold at a price of around RM3600, while the 8S Pro+ 24/1000 GB model is sold at a price of around RM4700.
