Xiaomi Malaysia has today introduced their latest basic phone offering, the Redmi 12. This phone will be sold from 15 July 2023, at a price starting at RM599.
Redmi 12 comes with a 6.79-inch screen on a FHD+ resolution display at a 90Hz refresh rate, equipped with a Helio G88 chip, with a memory option of up to 8GB RAM, and storage up to 256GB.
For photography, the Redmi 12 comes with a rear tri-camera with a 50MP main sensor, combined with an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro. For selfie recording, it comes with an 8-megapixel camera.
Redmi 12 also includes fingerprint scanner support on the side of the phone, FM radio support, 3.5mm audio-jack, and uses an 18W charger for the 5000mAh battery.
In Malaysia, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model is offered at a price of RM599, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at RM699. It will go on sale from July 15, 2023.
