The rear camera is still the same 50MP OIS wide angle, 12MP ultra wide angle and 10MP telephoto with 3X optical zoom. The external selfie camera is still 10MP and the internal selfie is also 4MP under the screen. In short, in terms of differences, only the chip, memory, storage and hinge design have been changed this year.
It still passes the IPX8 standard which allows it to be submerged in water and receive Dolby Atmos audio support. The fingerprint scanner is also located on the built-in side of the power button. The operating system used is One UI 5.1.1 based on Android 13. The shock-resistant Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is used on the front and back panels.
Several new accessories were also introduced in the form of the S Pen. The framework with the newly built S Pen for example comes with an S Pen that is 48% thinner. With this the hump issue on the back frame is no longer an issue. A new S Pen Pro will also be launched by the end of 2023 with better pen meta accuracy and angle detection than the regular S Pen for Fold.
